Kim,
Thanks for the KaiserCartel LOVE! How’d you find out about ‘em? Curious…
Very best,

About the Author
All of the content you see on this here bloggy blog was written by me, Kim Ware. I am a Project Manager by day, musician/indie record label owner by night. I live in Southwest Atlanta with my fiance’ husband and best friend Mark, our two dogs Churchill and Buddy, and our cat Snowden. Our pets bring us constant joy and hours of entertainment and I really can’t imagine our lives without them. That’s Churchill and Snowden in my header graphic.
I was born and raised in a very small town called Kings Mountain, located in the foothills of North Carolina (about 35 miles west of Charlotte). After graduating high school I moved to Wilmington, NC to go to college and remained there for 15 years. It was there that I joined my first band, met my future (ex-) husband, started a record label and made many dear friends, so Wilmington will always have a very special place in my heart. In October of 2004 I moved to Atlanta, where I’ve managed to make a cozy home for myself; I purchased an old brick tudor in May of ‘06, something I feel is my biggest accomplishment to date, especially considering that just two years prior I had given up practically everything to live in a one-bedroom, furnished apartment.
Music is my passion, when I’m not playing it I’m listening to it or thinking about it. I’ve been a drummer for over half my life and recently started dabbling in guitar and songwriting. I launched my own solo project several months ago; named The Good Graces (after my Grandmother, who I miss dearly… her name was Grace), it is my outlet for expressing myself as I venture through this challenging and confusing thing that we call Life. Aside from that, I play drums for Mary O. Harrison, a really talented songwriter who’s about to release her debut album (it’s still ok to call them “albums,” right?), and occasionally with Jeff Evans/Chickens and Pigs, a really crazy and remarkably sweet fellow who truly writes some of the best hillbilly blues tunes this side of the Mississippi. I am constantly inspired my all my friends and fellow musicians here, and can only hope that what I do is an inkling as impressive as what they do.
I also really love to write, as well as dabble in web design, so this blog is a good outlet for both. So enjoy, ponder, comment… I welcome any feedback as I’m still learning this WordPress stuff. Thanks for reading!

Hey, you’re welcome! I heard about them on NPR a couple of months ago. One of the DJs was raving about them so I checked them out… it was love at first, uhm, listen! ![]()
