and I feel fine. Made it through my first day at work. It helped that I worked from home and stayed in my pajamas til noon. Gotta ease back into these sorts of things. It also helped that I’ve been rather zen-like since my trip to Mexico. Gonna try really hard to stay that way.
Mark and I had quite the shindig upon our return from Cabo (check out the photos here); a great time was had and it was wonderful to celebrate with our close friends and family. Sadly my parents couldn’t make it because my dad was sick (he’s ok now). But it was great that my aunt and brother still made the trip down, and joined about 50 of our friends for some wonderful food from Taqueria Del Sol (no, we just hadn’t had enough tacos yet), a slideshow from our Cabo trip, and some awesome indierock from The Preakness. Yippee.
I’ve got a very messy house to clean, gifts to put away, thank you notes to write, and (yikes) Christmas shopping to begin. But you know what? It’ll get done when it gets done. And it feels good to feel that way.
