Accomplishment vs. The Real World

My conversation with Mark this morning:

Me: “I’m really proud of myself; I feel like I accomplished a lot with the festival this year.”

Mark: “Good, baby. You should be proud of yourself.”

Me: “But I never feel that way about my job; I never feel like I’ve accomplished anything.”

Mark: Laughs. “That’s the case with most people.”

Me: “Well then what do they do?”

Mark: “Well, people are typically unhappy.”
