Tonight’s podcast (my very first!) features tracks from The Other Sound 2007 sampler CD. The Other Sound is an annual independent music festival held here in Atlanta; it’s organized by eskimo kiss along with several other fine local labels (Two Sheds, Goodnight Records, ISP, Containment Theory, Passive Aggressive and Stickfigure). Held September 6-9 at Drunken Unicorn, The EARL, Lenny’s and 11:11 Teahouse, the festival features over 20 amazing bands that span the indie music spectrum, from post-punk to indiepop to garage to Brit-pop to experimental.
